Direct deposit - There’s no waiting with direct deposit! You typically have enough to do all week, so let us handle depositing your money into your account so it’s there when you need it. Did you know that you could have your paycheck automatically deposited into whichever credit union account you designate: checking, savings, or a portion to both? That way you have immediate access to your money by using your CAMC FCU VISA check card at any ATM location or merchant that accepts VISA debit cards. For your convenience, we have placed ATMs at each hospital division and outside of the credit union office for 24-hour access to your accounts.

Direct deposit may also be available with the credit union for those outside the CAMC system. For more information on establishing direct deposit at your business or to sign-up for CAMC’s direct deposit program contact 388-5712. Just another service your credit union is happy to offer.

Safe deposit boxes - There is no better place in which to store your important documents than in a CAMC Federal Credit Union safe deposit box. All of your important papers are in one place so they’re easy to access. You have access to your box Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sizes and non-refundable fees are as follows:

3 x 5     $20 per year
3 x 10   $30 per year
5 x 10   $50 per year

Vacation discounts - We offer discount tickets for admission to Paramount’s Kings Island and great savings coupons/club cards for Busch Gardens/Water Country USA, Sea World, Hershey Park and more.

Coin counter Coin is counted each Tuesday through Thursday from 9 until 11 a.m. Unrolled coin that is free of debris is recommended as it will be run through our coin counter.

Travelers checks Travelers checks provide you security and peace of mind when planning a trip or vacation. If lost or stolen they can be reissued to you no matter where you are.

We offer American Express Travelers Checks which are prepackaged in denominations of $20s,$50s and $100s. Checks can be purchased for one signature or two and there is a $2.00 fee per $100 denomination.

Notary service - Notary services are available at the credit union at no charge during regular lobby hours Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Consumer reports Your credit union library offers reference materials to help you make informed choices whenever you are considering a purchase.

Wire transfers/stop payments Info on wire transfers and stop payments - CAMC Federal Credit Union offers both incoming and outgoing wire services. For more information and to get correct and complete wire instructions please call (304) 388-5700.

Members requesting a stop payment on a share draft need to call the credit union. Please have ready your member number, check number, dollar amount of the check and who the check was written to. Verify with the merchant that your check will be processed as a paper item. In certain situations when giving the merchant a pre-authorized check they will process the item as an ACH (automated clearing house). It is the members’ responsibility to ensure how the transaction is being processed. Share draft stop payments can be placed over the telephone, however, you must come to the credit union within 14 days to sign the request. Check stop payments are valid for only 6 months. The fee to place a stop payment on a personal check, money order or official check is $25.00.

Members requesting a stop payment on an ACH (automated clearing house) item must contact the credit union to initiate the stop pay. Please have ready your member number, company ID number of the merchant sending the ACH, the exact dollar amount of the ACH and the merchant name. The ACH stop payment can not be placed and will not be effective unless this information is accurate. Stop payments are valid for one month and stop pays are to be signed by member.
Many merchants are going from paper processing of your checks to ACH processing. Any time you write a check for a purchase and the merchant is going to process the item as an ACH they must void the check and return it to you.

Official checks When you need guaranteed funds and a personal check won't do, consider a credit union official check. Official check fee is $2.00.

Counter Checks If you run out of checks, that's no problem. Simply stop by the Credit Union lobby and we can print some counter checks for you. Checks can be purchased eight for $1.00. In a hurry, call ahead and we will have them ready for you to pick-up in the lobby or drive-thru.

VISA cash advances If you have a VISA credit card, we can help you obtain a cash advance. There is a $10.00 fee if you are using a VISA credit card other than your CAMC FCU VISA credit card.

New and used auto guides Be an informed shopper before you head to the dealership. Auto guides are available in the credit union library to help you make and informed decision.
